What is an incremental game?
An incremental game is built on numeric progress that keeps speeding up: every gain helps you earn bigger gains. It’s often mixed up with the idle game, and for good reason: most incremental games also progress while you’re away. Arsenal Zero is both.
No frantic clicking here: you progress through decisions. Which item to equip, which duplicate to melt, which expedition to launch, when to go for the next rarity up.
Power, the number that matters
Everything is measured in power. Each item has its own, rolled at random within its rarity’s range; add up your slots and you get your arsenal’s power. That’s what unlocks expeditions, from 0 at the Oil Port to 900 at Headquarters.
- Common10 – 29
- Rare30 – 54
- Epic55 – 89
- Legendary90 – 139
- Mythic140 – 199
- Exoticcards
Exotic, above Mythic, is the rarity of Operator cards: with no power of their own, they change your operator’s face and bring XP, credit or alloy bonuses.
Five ways to make the numbers climb
Item levels (1 to 5)
Melt your duplicates into alloy, then upgrade your items: each level multiplies their base power, up to ×1.75 at level 5.
The perfect roll
The top of the range is a rare roll (2.5% per item for a Common, 0.3% for a Mythic). A perfect copy gains +5% power at every level.
Prestige
An item at level 5 with a perfect roll can reach Prestige I: it gains a random permanent bonus, which you can reroll.
The Armory
All the alloy you invest ranks up your Armory, up to rank 22: +1% expedition credits and XP per rank.
Your player level (1 to 20)
XP unlocks content: Iron Tower at level 3, Workshop and Merchant at 4, My Relics at 5, PVP at 6, a second operator at 7, the Black Market at 8.
The reinvestment loop
- An expedition brings back items, credits, alloy and XP.
- Duplicates get melted (alloy), fused (a shot at the next rarity up) or recycled (credits and spare parts).
- Alloy and credits upgrade your best items.
- Your power climbs: a longer, more rewarding expedition opens up.
- And the loop starts again, one notch higher.
Common or Rare: fuse it for a shot at the next rarity. Epic or better: melt it into alloy.

What sets it apart from other incremental games
- No hard reset: Prestige happens item by item. Your arsenal is never wiped.
- Loot at every step: every item is a roll, with its own power.
- A collection to complete, with Bronze, Silver and Gold tiers (see the collection game).
- Real players: leaderboards, public profiles, PVP and squads with friends.
FAQ
What’s the difference between an idle game and an incremental game?
Incremental describes numeric progress that keeps accelerating; idle means the game moves forward without you. Arsenal Zero is both: its expeditions run while you’re away, and every gain helps you earn bigger ones.
Is there a prestige reset?
There’s no game reset. Arsenal Zero’s Prestige happens item by item: an item at max level with a perfect roll gains a permanent bonus.
How long does it take to reach max level?
Player level goes from 1 to 20. A regular player gets there in about two months; the first levels come within hours.
Can I progress without paying?
Yes. Credits, crystals, alloy and crates are all earned by playing (expeditions, contracts, achievements, collections). Purchases only save time.
